GrantSnap is built for people who already know they will fill a funder form this quarter. It is not built for people who want to read about grants in general.

Startup founders

Grants, accelerators, competitions, and some VC applications that are still a web form. The catalog and the newsletter both tag startup as an applicant type. The extension is useful when you are sending the same company story to a tenth programme.

Researchers, professors, and students

Fellowships and research calls are the majority of some slices of our catalog — on 13 September 2026, 208 of 543 active public listings were fellowships. If that is your world, the tool still applies: profile once, fill in Chrome, review. Academic portals that are not ordinary HTML forms will be harder.

NGO operators

Foundation and public grants, often with long narrative sections and attachment lists. Forty-four active listings on 13 September 2026 were tagged for NGO applicants. The profile should include registration status and mission language a reviewer would recognise, not a startup pitch.

Who should not start here

Anyone who needs Firefox or Safari. Anyone who wants GrantSnap to submit. Anyone who wants us to certify eligibility. Anyone looking for legal advice, lobbying, or a paid writer who will own the narrative. Anyone under 18. Anyone whose “application” is an email to a programme officer with no form.
