What is actually worth your time here

Mid-career fellowships (Guggenheim), early-career research fellowships (Harvard Academy Scholars), journalist residencies, AI policy fellowships, and a few federal research calls such as the NSF–UKRI quantum chemistry lead-agency opportunity. Founders who also write, research, or hold a recent PhD will recognise more of this list than a pre-seed SaaS company will.

• Marshall Scholarships 2027 — Marshall Commission. United States citizens who will hold a first degree from an accredited four-year US college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.7 when they take up the award.
• NSF–UKRI/EPSRC lead agency opportunity on quantum information in chemical systems — National Science Foundation (with UKRI/EPSRC). Collaborative teams of US academic, nonprofit, or for-profit organisations with UK higher-education or approved research organisations. This is a research call, not a startup prize.
